Alumni are an underutilised resource at Uppsala University. For example, alumni have the potential to:
- Be guest lecturers or mentors to students
- Organise internship places, host workplace visits and summer jobs for students
- Provide students with valuable contacts on the job market
- Give students a concrete view of graduate opportunities and professional life in their industries
- Be a source of inspiration and motivation to students and graduates
- Open doors for strategic partnerships
- Improve the quality and relevance of educational programmes and courses
Alumni are usually happy to donate their time and expertise to their Alma Mater.
The Alumni Team has a register of all 33 000 members of the Uppsala University Alumni Network, and can assist you with coming into contact with alumni. For example, if you are travelling and wish to organise an activity with alumni in the place you are travelling to, we can help.
