Visual guidelines
The visual identity guidelines are a tool we use to make it clear that Uppsala University is the source of communications.
Campus card
Staff at Uppsala University must display their campus card, a personalised multi-purpose card for access to facilities and to enable printing, while on campus.
Climate-smart business travel
The University is to reduce the climate footprint of its business travel by 30 percent.

Maintenance of AKKA
In effect from 2024-05-07 09:00 to 2024-05-07 11:00 On Tuesday 7 May between 9:00 – 11:00 the University catalogue AKKA will be closed for a planned release. This will affect all account- and catalogue management. It will not be possible to work in AKKA during this time. The administrative part of AKKA will not be accessible. It will not be possible to change passwords during this time. No one-time-passwords will be accessible and it will not be possible to activate accounts. It will not be possible to add new people or accounts.

Staff portal shutdown
In effect from 2024-05-02 00:00 to 2024-05-02 00:00 On Thursday, May 2nd, at 8:00 AM, the staff portal will be closed except for the meeting areas. Other functions are now available in the staff gateway https://www.uu.se/en/staff, and collaborative spaces are in SharePoint https://uppsalauniversitet.sharepoint.com.

“Deny All” Policy for the University Firewall
In effect from 2024-05-13 09:00 to 2024-05-13 10:00 On May 13 at 09:00, a so-called “Deny all” policy is introduced on the university firewall, which means that all unauthorized traffic trying to access the university network will be blocked. Exceptions must be reported to firewall@uu.se no later than May 8.
Questions can be put to the Security and Safety Division via firewall@uu.se.
