About the research track

The research track Metabolism is a multidisciplinary field that gives students ample exposure to basic, clinical and translational research. The main research areas are diabetes, obesity, islet transplantation, microbiome, biomarker discovery, metabolomics and molecular epidemiology.

The metabolism track provides the opportunity to participate in and hold seminars, courses in relevant disciplines and to exchange ideas with other students and experts.
