New system for doctoral matters

The Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy has changed its system for managing doctoral matters. The previous system was outdated, and crucial functionalities had ceased to work. Therefore, we needed to replace the system urgently.

The new Doktoranddatabasen handles applications for admission to doctoral studies and registrations for doctoral defences and licentiate seminars. Eventually, Ladok will handle Individual Study Plans (ISP), but before Ladok can do that, all revisions of existing ISPs must be made on forms.

Complementary Zoom sessions for questions

Tuesdays 12 March–23 April, 12:00.

Please note that if there are no participants by 12.10, the meeting is closed.

Timetable

On 1 March, the new system opens. All new cases should be registered there instead of in the current system.

Provided that the Head of Department or person responsible for doctoral studies at the department has time to approve an already started case by 28 March, that case can be processed in the current system.

28 March is the last day that the current system is open.

In other words, it is the last day to approve cases in the current system (before the KUF meeting on 9 April). If the Head of Department or person responsible for doctoral studies does not have time to approve a case by 28 March, the case must be processed in the new system.

From 29 March onwards, the current system will be closed, and only the new Doktoranddatabas will be open to handle all cases. Starting from KUF’s meeting on 7 May, they will manage all cases in the new system.
