Alvin

Alvin is a national platform for the long-term preservation and digitization of cultural heritage material from Swedish institutions. Digitization is an ongoing project.

The platform is developed and maintained by Uppsala University Library and operated in consortium form together with Gothenburg University Library and the University Library at Lund University.

PRAGMATA

The database PRAGMATA contains material from nearly a hundred years of Swedish archaeological activity in Greece. PRAGMATA includes inventoried archaeological material, storage and contextual information, including photos and links to partially scanned and annotated excavation documentation, and information from older databases converted to modern database format. The Asine collection, which is managed by Gustavianum, Uppsala University Museum, is included in the database.

PRAGMATA is a result of the infrastructure project Archive and database of Swedish archaeological research in Greece at the Swedish Institute in Athens. The project has been financed by the Riksbanken Jubileumsfond and co-financed by Gustavianum, the Department of Archeology and Ancient History, Uppsala University and the Swedish Institute in Athens.
