Policies and guidelines
Gustavianum is part of Uppsala University and follows the general goals and guidelines that apply to the entire authority. This includes the operational goals and strategies, environmental work, employer issues and so on, as published in Uppsala University’s mission, goals and strategies.
In addition to the general guidelines, Gustavianum also works according to the following policies and guidelines.

Guidelines for digitizing the collections
Gustavianum follows ICOM's Code of Ethics for Museums (pdf) and does not perform valuations of objects. We do not assess authenticity of items and do not issue certificates of authenticity.
