Study counseling

Our student counsellor can guide you on the courses and programmes available, and also inform you about how to apply, admission rules etc. You should also contact our student counselor if you have any special needs during your studies. See also the university page below.

Student with disabilities

Students with disabilities are entitled to support during their education. This also applies to persons with documented reading and writing difficulties. You can find more information about support for students with disabilities through the link below.

If you are planning on studying at our department and you are in need of some kind of support, it is crucial that you – well ahead of the start of the semester – make contact with our ombudsman for students with disabilities, preferably by email at studievagledare@musik.uu.se. That way, we can make sure that you get the support you need when your course starts.

Music theory support

Once a week – usually in the afternoons – you will have the oppportunity to get help with your music theory assignments. You can come to room 2-0043, where a teacher will be available to answer your questions.

The day and time for this support meeting can vary from one semester to another. You can always find the latest schedule through TimeEdit. Sometimes, if you cannot come to campus, it is also possible to get help via Zoom. Ask your teacher if this is possible.
