Verification for collaboration - Strategic partnerships within Teknat

Researchers at the Faculty of Science and Technology (Teknat) can apply for funding for research collaboration with our strategic partner organisations.

The Faculty of Science and Technology has set aside funds to stimulate more research collaborations between Teknat researchers and the university's strategic partnership organisations, as part of stimulating broader and more active collaborations within the partnerships in general.

A total of 800 000 SEK has been allocated for 2024 and 1 million SEK for 2025. The activity is a pilot to be evaluated.

Assessment criteria

The assessment criteria for VFS - Strategic Partnerships within Teknat are the same as for Verification for Collaboration (VFS), but the researcher must be employed at the Faculty of Science and Technology and the collaboration must be with organisations with which the university has a strategic partnership agreement.

The funds from VFS and VFS - strategic partnerships within Teknat cannot finance the same project or subproject. However, you can apply for funding from both VFS and VFS - strategic partnerships within Teknat.

Application process

As a researcher you apply for Teknat's partnership funds in the same way as when you apply for Verification for Collaboration (VFS), Researchers can apply for funds from both VFS funds and VFS - strategic partnerships within Teknat but for different projects/sub-projects.

Projects can receive funding of up to 300 000 SEK.
