You can study at a programme or on an individual course in Archaeology, Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, Egyptology or Osteology

If you are interested in archaeology and early history we offer a wide selection of courses and programs in Uppsala and in Visby.

Through field projects and collaborations in different parts of the world the researchers and teachers here at the department are at the forefront of research and subject discourse. We offer unique possibilities in Sweden to combine studies in the different BA programmes from archaeology, classical archaeology and ancient history, egyptology and osteology. Through our wide selection of courses you can tailor your training based on your own interest and the varied possibilities on the job market.

The courses offer a natural step on the way towards a set of different professions, such as at museums, tourism, cultural heritage management, aid work, environmental planning and publishing. Read more about what our alumni do after leaving us!
