Scholarships for master students
Each semester, the department announces an application round for smaller grants (ca. 5.000 to 10.000 SEK) open to students enrolled in the Master programme in musicology. The grants are intended to meet costs in relation to fieldwork, travels to archives, repro costs, participation in conferences or similar activities related to the academic work of the student.
Submitted applications are considered continuously, but deadline for applying for grants to be used during the spring semesters is March 15, and for autumn semesters October, 15.

Applications can also be sent by e-mail to mattias.lundberg@musik.uu.se. They should be sent in either Word or pdf format. The application should consist of a maximum of two pages, where the student submits the following:
- the sum applied for
- the purpose of the grant, if awarded
- a budget of the costs
