Get involved and make an impact!

Our alumni are important ambassadors, and many choose to donate their time and expertise to improving the quality of research and education at Uppsala Unversity. You can give directly back to your programme or department, and help students who are currently studying the same programme as you did.

How can you get involved?

• Become a guest lecturer
• Become a mentor for a current student or recent graduate
• Recruit students and graduates to your workplace - You can advertise projects that students can apply for through Studentkraft (in Swedish), or post a position on UU CareerGate and present your employer to Uppsala University students and graduates.
• Offer internships and arrange workplace visits
• Hold a speech at a graduation ceremony
• Provide programmes with real case examples and give feedback on programme content
• Purchase commissioned education from the university for your employees
• Get involved in innovation projects and entrepreneurship
• Nominate Alumnus of the Year
• Join an alumni association
• Organise an alumni event
• Support the university financially

Uppstuk

Uppstuk is a consultancy firm owned and operated by students, student associations, the university and several Uppsala-based companies. Its mission is to find staff and recruit for leading companies in Uppsala. If you are a company owner, you can use Uppstuk to find student consultants in such areas as IT, life sciences and finance.
