About the course
Knowledge of how electric vehicles can be charged from different levels of the electricity grid and what infrastructure may be needed in society for this. Static and dynamic charging, charging of different vehicle types, challenges with large-scale electrification of the vehicle fleet, different kinds of chargers, charging sequences, communication protocols, SOC (state of charge) for the battery, efficiency, power and energy, power quality, grid stability, grid constraints and discussion of various ethical and environmental aspects of charging.
