Parts of the driveline, its function and cooperation: battery, inverter, electric motor, measuring system, generator. Charging electric cars. Concepts such as driving cycle, energy, power and torque. Industry perspective with guest lectures from the industry. The electric car in society: problems, limitations and opportunities. The history and development of the electric car. The electric car from an environmental, societal and ethical perspective.
